Position Overview

For our Public Sector team, we are looking for a motivated individual who would like to gain first practical experience in technical sales and get a close-up look at the work of a Solutions Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with experienced Solutions Engineers, Client Executives, and specialists, gaining deep insights into modern IT infrastructures, cloud technologies, AI workloads, and data management solutions.

• Shape customer meetings — prepare and support customer conversations and technical workshops
• Present solutions — contribute to demonstrations and presentations of NetApp solutions
• Support Proofs of Concept — assist with technical PoCs and evaluations
• Create documentation — prepare architecture overviews, technical concepts, and requirement analyses
• Prepare proposals — support the creation of technical solution concepts and proposals
• Research trends — explore current developments in cloud, storage, cyber resilience, and AI
• Contribute as part of the team — collaborate closely with sales, partner, and specialist teams

Your Profile

• Current or completed studies in computer science, business informatics, information technology, data science, or a comparable field
• A basic interest in IT infrastructures, cloud technologies, or networks
• Curiosity about technical sales topics and customer consulting
• An analytical mindset and a structured way of working
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
• Very good German skills and good English skills

No prior experience in enterprise IT required — we will support you on your learning journey.
