Your Role

You will contribute to an innovation project team developing novel payload technologies for next-generation antibody-drug conjugates, with a focus on degrader-ADCs (DACs) and PROxAb Shuttle platforms. Your contribution will be on the AI/automation side: you will help us automate recurring scientific and administrative workflows, establish AI-first ways of working within the team, and support the wider organization in adopting AI tools more broadly. This is not a research-modeling role – no advanced machine-learning development or model building is expected. Instead, you will work hands-on with existing AI tools (e.g. LLM-based assistants, automation platforms) to streamline day-to-day work such as literature and IP analysis, documentation, data organization, and reporting. This role is purely dry-lab / office-based – no wet-lab or bench work is required.

In your role you will support our team by identifying manual, repetitive tasks and turning them into AI-assisted or automated workflows, building simple tools and scripts, documenting and rolling out best practices for AI-first working, and acting as a multiplier who helps colleagues across the organization get more value out of AI in their own work.

We offer a 6-month internship, fully based in a dry-lab / office setting (no wet-lab work).

Who You Are

• Advanced Master's student (final-year) in Data Science / Business Informatics / Computer Science / Bioinformatics / Computational Biology or a related field with a genuine interest in AI tools and automation and proven track-record in biology / biochemistry / drug discovery (e.g. internships). PhD candidates are not eligible for this internship.
• Comfortable using and combining modern AI/LLM tools and basic scripting (e.g. Python) to automate everyday tasks; no advanced machine-learning or modeling expertise required
• Curious and pragmatic mindset, enjoys figuring out how to make existing workflows faster and simpler rather than building things from scratch
• Independent and thorough working mode, confidence in structuring and presenting concepts to colleagues, incl. non-technical audiences
• German and English at C2 level (near-native proficiency) required
