Aufgaben

Your tasks?

  • As a Working Student Design System / Development (m/f/d/x), you support a team working on the development and maintenance of the Mercedes-Benz AG Web Design System.
  • You support the integration and management of design tokens as well as the automation of change processes.
  • You also contribute to the further development of our component library based on modern web standards.
  • The implementation and enhancement of AI agents are also part of your responsibilities.
  • You contribute to expanding our offering by integrating modern styling frameworks and their theming options.
  • In addition, you apply software engineering best practices to ensure quality and efficiency and collaborate with experienced developers (m/f/d/x) from various disciplines in an agile and international product development team.

  • You are studying Computer Science, Media Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree program.
  • You have knowledge of frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as initial experience in developing Python applications.
  • You have a basic understanding of AI and LLMs, particularly in the analysis and transformation of code or text. Knowledge of server-side development and API design is an advantage.
  • You are familiar with software engineering best practices and ideally have experience working with design systems and reusable components.
  • You are familiar with the GitHub platform, enjoy working in an agile team, and are enthusiastic about developing innovative solutions.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
