Working Student Controlling (m/f/d)

Position Summary

Would you like to gain practical experience in Controlling within an international medical technology company and learn how financial insights help drive operational and business decisions?

Then join our Munich Plant Controlling team! As a Working Student (m/f/d), you will support budgeting and forecasting activities, contribute to monthly closing processes, and gain valuable insights into the financial management of a global manufacturing organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities within the LivaNova reporting structure
  • Assist in the weekly and monthly preparation of Manufacturing Variances, Operational Performance Controlling (OPC), and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyze operational and controlling data and support the follow-up of improvement actions and business performance measures
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and analyses related to monthly closing activities
  • Support SOX compliance and external audit activities related to plant controlling processes
  • Create reports, analyses, dashboards, and presentations for various stakeholders
  • Support the Munich Plant Controller in day-to-day controlling activities
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving reporting processes, operational transparency, and performance management

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Controlling, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in Controlling, Manufacturing Operations, Business Performance, and data-driven decision-making
  • Analytical mindset and affinity for working with numbers, KPIs, and operational data
  • Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Initial experience with ERP, reporting, or business intelligence systems is an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different functions and levels of the organization
