LevelUp English | Berlin (hybrid flexibility)Start: ASAP | 20–40h/week | 3–6 months

About LevelUp English

LevelUp English is a growing Berlin-based education startup delivering immersive English learning experiences through school project weeks, class trips, and holiday camps across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Our programmes, from Startup Academy to Academy of Magic, Academy of Heroes to Teen Growth, bring language learning to life through themed, offline experiences.

We're building something meaningful, and we're looking for people who want to be part of it.

About the Role

Austria and Switzerland are key growth markets for us, and this role exists to help us build there. You'll work closely with our Schools and Camps teams to drive outreach, develop relationships with schools and partners, and support the content and messaging that gets LevelUp in front of the right people.

This isn't a passive internship. You'll have real ownership over outreach pipelines, contribute to campaign strategy, and help shape how LevelUp shows up in two distinct markets. If you're curious, proactive, and want to see the direct results of your work, this is the role.

Tasks

What You'll Do

Market Outreach & Lead Generation

  • Research and identify target schools, trip coordinators and decision-makers across Austria and Switzerland

  • Conduct outreach via email and phone, building and managing a pipeline of school contacts

  • Track conversations, progress and follow-ups

Sales Support & Partnership Development

  • Support the Schools and Camps teams with proposals, follow-up sequences and booking coordination

  • Help identify and research potential local partners - venues, youth organisations, accommodation providers

  • Assist in preparing outreach decks and presentation materials tailored to the AT/CH market

Content & Localisation

  • Support the creation and adaptation of outreach materials and campaign messaging for Austrian and Swiss audiences

  • Contribute to social media content that speaks to schools and families in these markets

  • Ensure tone, language, and cultural references are right for the context

Research & Strategy Support

  • Map the school calendar landscape in Austria and Switzerland to identify key booking windows

  • Feed insights back to the team to inform our broader DACH growth strategy

Requirements

Who You Are

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Business, Marketing, International Management, Tourism, Education, or similar

  • Native or near-native German speaker with strong English

  • Some connection to Austria or Switzerland, whether through study, living, or work, is a plus

  • Proactive, organised and comfortable picking up the phone

  • Interested in education, startups and the idea that learning can be life changing

Benefits

What You'll Gain

  • Responsibility in a growing startup - your work directly shapes our impact and growth

  • Hands-on experience across outreach, sales, content creation and business strategy

  • Close collaboration with the founding team and department leads

  • A front-row seat to how an education startup scales across new markets

  • Flexible hybrid working from our Berlin base

Our Culture

We believe in ownership, impact-driven projects and the power of offline, socio-emotional developmental experiences. Our programmes change how young people experience language, and the team behind them should feel that same sense of purpose. We're not looking for someone to fill a seat. We're looking for someone who wants to build something.
