We are seeking for
Are you passionate about supporting fellow students and working in an international environment? Do you enjoy engaging with people from diverse backgrounds? This is your chance to gain valuable experience while making a real impact!
To support the Student Services team, we are looking for a student assistant at the earliest possible date. The workload is designed for approximately 20 hours per week, with a remuneration of 15 euros per hour.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the friendly face of Student Services on site: provide personal consultation and support for (international) students at the Student Info Point.
- Help students navigate university life: answer inquiries related to Student Affairs (e.g., housing queries; questions on public transportation, the schedule & examinations, on the semester abroad, etc.).
- Foster community spirit: organize and promote extracurricular events, from on-campus meetups and a yearly weekend trip to virtual meetings (evening & weekend work is required, depending on event schedules).
- Handle administrative tasks: issue certificates, conduct research, and assist in daily operations.
Your qualifications
- Currently enrolled at a state-recognized university.
- Excellent English skills (written & spoken); German is a plus!
- Friendly, service-oriented, motivated, and confident in interacting with diverse groups.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in your work approach.
- Team player with a proactive and engaging attitude.
- Availability at our KLU campus Hamburg (role requires physical presence).
- Flexible availability: occasional evenings & weekends for events.
