About Your Program

You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

What You'll Do

  • Support customer visits and maintain customer relationships by assisting with meeting arrangements, visit records, and customer profile updates.

  • Assist the sales team in handling customer issues related to contracts, accounts, shipping, complaints, and payment follow-ups.

  • Support new customer development, market expansion, and sales target achievement through market research and customer outreach.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support sales strategies and business growth.

  • Assist with sales operations, process optimization, reporting, and participate in sales training and marketing events.

About You

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, E-commerce, or a related field. Preferably students in final semester, graduating in 2026.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online retail is a plus.

  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 3-6 months for the internship.

  • Proficiency in English and Chinese is required; German language skills are a plus

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
