About The Role
As a Technical Service Engineer Intern, you will support our team in handling aircraft-related technical enquiries. You will help investigate technical questions, coordinate with Engineering and document support cases clearly and accurately.
What you will do
- Support the handling of customer technical enquiries
- Gather and organise information to investigate technical issues
- Coordinate with Engineering and other internal teams
- Document and track technical enquiries and support cases
- Assist with technical reports, status updates and customer communication
- Maintain technical databases, logs and knowledge repositories
- Analyse recurring topics and contribute ideas for process improvements
- Support Service Sales Managers and Customer Managers with technical information
What you bring
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in aviation, technical support and problem-solving
- Good analytical and organisational skills
- A structured and detail-oriented way of working
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good written and spoken English
- Team spirit and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of aircraft systems or aviation maintenance
- Familiarity with Teamcenter, SAP or similar systems
- Initial experience in technical troubleshooting, documentation or customer support

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Ingenieurwesen in Tussenhausen für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
