What to expect

We are looking for a motivated student to support the development of augmented reality applications, e.g., for the visualization of points clouds and flow data. This application will allow researchers and engineers to load different types of flow data on self-adapting environment, support point clouds, streamlines and further kinds of flow visualization techniques. Furthermore, existing interaction methods will extended, and new methods will developed to allow for an intuitive exploration of the visualized data.

Your tasks

  • Integration and maintenance of existing XR applications
  • Development of new interaction and visualisation features
  • Testing and evaluation of XR applications

If you want to deepen your experiences in software development, but are also looking for a working environment where you can bring in your own ideas and solutions, feel warmly invited to apply for this position. Our international team is always looking for new team members. We also offer the opportunity to work in our well-equipped software and visualization laboratories. We would also be happy if you might eventually be excited to carry out your final thesis with us.

Your profile

  • You are studying in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar courses.
  • You own good knowledge in programming, preferably in C++ and C#
  • Experience with computer graphics and shader programming
  • Experience in XR or game development (Unreal Engine and Unity) is beneficial
  • And you are a team player with creativity, independence and personal responsibility
