Master's Thesis »Valuation methods for pension products during the retirement phase«

Demographic change in Germany makes a reform of the pension system necessary. Corresponding legislative proposals for private and statutory pensions are currently being drafted. The insurance industry is developing private pension products that also include various options for the pension phase. This master’s thesis aims to contribute to the evaluation of these concepts for the pension phase.

• Advanced MA studies in mathematics with a specialisation in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics
• Interest in the subject pension scheme, ideally knowledge of German pension products
• Strong programming skills, e.g., in Python or Java
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to develop new methods and prepare results for publication
