The »Quantum Machine Learning« team at Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO in Stuttgart conducts research on quantum computing-based data processing and develops machine learning methods in support of quantum technologies. The team is part of flaQship, the Fraunhofer Lab for applied quantum computing Stuttgart-Heilbronn, which unites the expertise of Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO and the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA. Our quantum-computing training program combines lectures on fundamental and advanced concepts with practical coding sessions. We are looking for a Student Assistant to help keep these materials accurate, engaging, and up to date. You will revise and extend lecture slides, coding notebooks, exercises, and example solutions, while ensuring compatibility with current quantum software frameworks. Depending on your experience and interests, you may also deliver lectures, lead coding sessions, and support participants during workshops.
