The Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP in Dresden is dedicated to the development of innovative solutions, technologies, and processes for surface refinement and organic electronics. We offer a wide range of research, development, and pilot production options, particularly for the treatment, structuring, and refinement of surfaces as well as for sensors and optical filters. The working group "Stationary Precision Coating" within Plasma Technology focuses on developing plasma-based vacuum coating processes and technologies for producing functional layers using reactive magnetron sputtering. Our current focus lies on piezoelectric and semiconducting oxide and nitride layers. Do you enjoy experimental and scientific work in small teams? Are you interested in applied research and like working analytically or systematically to find solutions? Are you motivated to explore new technologies and methods and later independently conduct experiments? To support our team, we are offering a position as a Student Assistant at our location in Dresden-Gruna starting as soon as possible.
