Your Mission

As part of our Legal team, you will gain deep, practical insights into the complex legal, regulatory, and operational framework of an agile, fast-growing tech company. You will support strategic corporate initiatives, work on cutting-edge regulatory compliance topics, and engage in day-to-day legal operations as well as high-impact cross-functional projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Commercial & Energy Law Support: Support the Legal team in commercial, corporate, and energy law, with a particular focus on OTC trading frameworks, platform contracts, and environmental commodity rules.
  • Contract Management: Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating standard customer agreements, platform contract amendments, and third-party vendor contracts in both German and English.
  • Regulatory Research: Conduct legal research and prepare assessments on civil, contract, and financial regulatory topics (such as BaFin compliance, REMIT II, GDPR, and NIS-2 security frameworks).
  • Legal Tech & AI Initiative: Support the Legal team in leveraging AI-driven workflows (including LLMs and Gemini tools), process automation, and Legal Tech solutions to optimize contract workflows, search routines, and document management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Product, Operations, Finance, and Management to resolve business-relevant legal queries and align legal requirements with platform product developments.
  • Monitoring Developments: Track national and European regulatory developments in energy wholesale trading and digital financial markets to help keep our compliance frameworks ahead of the curve.

Your Profile

  • Academic Background: Ongoing studies in law, business law (Wirtschaftsrecht), or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on civil, commercial, or economic law.
  • First Practical Insights: Ideally first theoretical or practical experience (e.g., through internships) in commercial law, corporate law, contract drafting, or regulatory compliance.
  • Structured Mindset: Analytical approach, highly organized working style, and strong attention to detail.
  • Tech-Savvy & Innovative: High openness to digital tools, automation, and utilizing AI assistants to improve efficiency.
  • International Spirit: Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work in a collaborative, highly international team environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken German and English is required.

The position is available as of September 2026 in our Munich office.

Dank des Werkstudentenprivilegs zahlst du keine Beiträge zur Kranken-, Pflege- und Arbeitslosenversicherung — nur die Rentenversicherung greift. Dir bleibt mehr netto als in einem regulären Job.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
