In Frankfurt, we are looking for you to join us starting January 2027 in a full-time or part-time, non-permanent position as an Intern (all genders) Leveraged Finance Germany at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you
- Working on pitch processes, in cooperation with various teams across the bank (Coverage, M&A, ECM, Syndicate)
- Interacting with internal stakeholders
- Maintaining high degree of market awareness
- Providing support in the day-to-day execution of live deals
- Preparing thoughtful cash flow projection models, driven by detailed assessment of business and economic conditions
- Assisting in the production of internal credit / capital markets memoranda, including advanced financial statement analysis
- Conducting issuer due diligence and identifying significant business, industry and financial strengths and risks
- Ensuring that all regulatory and commercial training is completed on time and refreshed as required
- Responsible for adherence to the Bank’s corporate policies, to its internal Compliance regulations as well as to appropriate external Regulators
Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer
- A degree from a leading university with an excellent academic record
- Previous experience in corporate banking, financing, debt advisory, private equity or similar is preferred
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Adept at receiving and synthesizing information
- Proven credit / risk analysis skills
- Bloomberg skills are a plus
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Hard worker, reliable and eager to learn
- Fluent in English and German (preferred), another EU language would be beneficial

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Finance in Frankfurt für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
