Our team at the BMW Group Sales Division is dedicated to strategic sales projects with direct relevance for senior management and future business development. We address key challenges and opportunities in global automotive sales, customer development, business transformation, and competitive strategy.

What awaits you?

  • You will support the development and execution of strategic projects within the BMW Group Sales Division.
  • Furthermore, you help with analyses addressing future sales opportunities, market developments, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics.
  • In addition, you conduct strategic research and derive actionable recommendations for management decision-making.
  • Moreover, you assist in preparing executive presentations, management briefings, and board-level documents.
  • You will also analyze market trends, business models, and emerging developments within the global automotive industry.
  • Additionally, you collaborate with international stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and product-related functions.
  • Lastly, you help drive innovation through data-based insights, benchmarking, and business case evaluations.


What should you bring along?

  • Studies in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, data analytics, strategy or a comparable field.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Affinity for strategic topics and business development.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with data analytics tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to structure complex topics and communicate them clearly.
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry, future mobility trends, and customer-centric business models.
  • Very good English skills; German is beneficial.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Vertrieb in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
