Role Description The IT Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Heilbronn. The intern will assist with day-to-day IT support activities, including handling service requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting end users with technical questions. Responsibilities include helping maintain network and system components, documenting incidents and resolutions, and escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when needed. The intern will also support small IT projects such as device setup, user onboarding, and basic configuration tasks, gaining exposure to infrastructure, cloud, and security practices used within the organization. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional environment and opportunities to learn from experienced IT and consulting professionals.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational Information Technology knowledge, including basic understanding of operating systems, hardware components, and common business applications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Security, such as familiarity with LAN/WAN concepts, routers/switches, and basic security best practices.
• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting abilities, including systematic problem-solving, diagnostic thinking, and the ability to resolve common technical issues.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, including clear communication, patience, professionalism, and a user-focused approach to support.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree or vocational program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of cloud services, IT infrastructure, or help desk tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Heilbronn, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or other European languages is a plus.
