THE TEAM AND ROLE

We’re looking for a Working Student DevOps Engineer (all genders) to join our infrastructure team and support deploying and operating our software in both cloud and clinical environments. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. This role is key to transforming healthcare delivery with seamless and stable technology.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with our core development team to roll out new features and services

  • Support design, test, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure that powers Avelios in hospitals and the cloud

  • Support to operate and improve large-scale deployments with high availability and performance requirements

  • Apply best practices in observability, incident response, and fault tolerance

  • Support that our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable in clinical environments

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current enrolled in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • First experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments

  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging best practices

  • first experience with modern toolchains and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus

  • Strong interest in learning new technologies and working in a fast-paced, high-impact setting

  • Solution-oriented mindset and a pragmatic, hands-on working style

  • Fluency in English; German is a plus but not required
