Corporate Communications helps adidas create distinctive and engaging relationships with its stakeholders, build a strong and trusted corporate brand, and strengthen the reputation of the company behind the iconic three stripes. Our team brings stories to life for both internal and external audiences. From helping employees feel connected to our strategy, operating model and priorities, to supporting media relations and protecting the company's reputation, we shape how adidas is understood across the world.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to experience both sides of Corporate Communications, getting an inside look at how one of the world's most recognized brands communicates with employees, media, and key stakeholders.

Grow Your Capabilities Through Meaningful Tasks & Projects

• Support Internal Communications by creating employee communication campaigns and engagement initiatives across different functions and topics (Brand, HR, Tech, and more)
• Support employee moments at HQ around key events, sporting moments and athlete visits
• Assist with copywriting assignments and basic image editing
• Support the adidas press office with media relations activities, messaging, briefings, media lists, media visits, and events including the annual press conference and annual general meeting
• Monitor and report relevant media coverage on key company topics and moments
• Help manage media inquiries and requests for interviews and business information
• Conduct research and prepare background information, presentations, and communication materials for selected topics
• Partner with colleagues across different functions to help bring communication strategies to life

What Would Make You a Match

• Bachelor or Master's Student in Communications, Multimedia, Journalism or related field
• Passion for communication and working in a fast-paced industry
• Fluent in German (native speaker level) and English (written and spoken)
• Good writing, organizational and event planning skills
• Microsoft skills (esp. PowerPoint, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams etc.) are a plus
• Reliable team player with hands-on and can-do attitude
• High level of motivation and willingness to learn
• High affinity for our brand, products, and partners
• Previous experience in communications, public relations, journalism, media, or content creation is a plus

Eligibility  requirements

• Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship  
• Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)  
• Students with ideally max. one year to graduation preferred
• Availability for the full duration of the internship from March 2027 – September 2027 
• Ability to relocate to Herzogenaurach in Germany for the full duration of the internship
