Would you like to gain practical experience while contributing to a reliable and future-oriented energy system?

As a working student with us, you become part of a collaborative team where you can learn, contribute your ideas, and grow step by step. At Vattenfall, we believe “there is a way” — and together, we explore better ways of working every day.

You will support our Agile Coaching & Initiative Management team in strengthening project portfolio execution & transparency, improving operational processes, and enabling better collaboration across BA Markets. In this role, you will contribute to PMO activities, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives — gaining hands-on experience in how projects and business initiatives are managed in an international energy company.

You will help us turn information into insights, improve the quality of planning and reporting, and support initiatives that make cross-team collaboration easier and more effective.

What You Will Do

  • Support the team with PMO tasks such as preparing meetings, updating project overviews, tracking actions, and creating reports.
  • Help improve planning and reporting by structuring information and keeping data up to date.
  • Support the visibility of KPI:s and trends by collecting, checking, and presenting data in a clear way.
  • Prepare material for sponsors and stakeholders, such as presentations, summaries, and follow-ups.
  • Help organize workshops and formats that strengthen collaboration across teams.
  • Bring in your own ideas on how we can improve quality, transparency, and ways of working,
  • Explore further practical use cases for AI tools and help identify how they can improve reporting, coordination, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day ways of working.

Qualifications

You are curious, motivated to learn and enjoy working with others. You feel comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas, and you appreciate being part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled at a university in Germany in business informatics, business administration, energy management, information technology, or a related field.
  • Interest in the energy sector, project management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Structured and reliable way of working with an eye for improving processes and ways of working.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, or AI tools is a plus.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

If you do not meet every requirement but feel excited about the role, we still encourage you to apply — we value motivation and willingness to learn.
