A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic Commodity Management team for Core Large Gas Turbines as a working student, where you will play a vital role in ensuring business continuity. You will support strategic procurement by engaging in supplier management activities, conducting data analysis, and providing essential project support. Imagine being at the heart of procurement initiatives, where your contributions will directly influence decision-making and operational efficiency. This role offers you a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while delivering tangible value to our team.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Support Commodity Managers with both operational and strategic procurement activities
  • Obtain, prepare, and evaluate supplier offers in an international context
  • Assist in preparing for supplier negotiations and Supplier Days
  • Contribute to supplier scouting efforts, particularly in Global Value Source (GVS) countries
  • Help create requests for quotations (RFQs) and other procurement documents
  • Maintain and update supplier and contract data in relevant systems while communicating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
  • Initial practical experience through internships or previous working student roles is advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management principles
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication abilities, German is a plus
  • A proactive, structured approach to work, demonstrating analytical thinking and teamwork

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
