Your mission

As a Working Student in talent acquisition at OKAPI:Orbits, you play an active role in finding the right talent for our team, which builds SaaS solutions covering the entire satellite lifecycle. You support our Operations team in day-to-day operations, help keep the application process running smoothly, and make sure new colleagues get the best possible start with us. This includes maintaining an overview of all open positions, ensuring a smooth handover of candidates between stages and coordinating interview slots with different departments.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution of 1st interviews to assess company culture fit
  • Monitoring and coordinating the interview process to keep deadlines on track and all stakeholders informed
  • Preparing onboarding documentation for new hires
  • Processing and evaluating application questionnaires with support of Claude as part of the recruiting process
  • Supporting the preparation of 2nd interview commercial/technical challenges for candidates
  • Coordinating scheduling between candidates and hiring teams with Microsoft Bookings
  • Ensuring timely processing of candidates in our HR software Personio
  • Supporting the recruiting team with general administrative tasks

Your profile

Must-haves:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree (HR, Psychology, Legal, Business or related), or at least 2 years of experience as a working student
  • Available onsite in Braunschweig, ideally 20 hours per week, starting immediately
  • Structured, reliable and detail-oriented way of working with sensible information
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Confident use of MS Office (Sharepoint, Bookings)
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Initial experience in HR, recruiting or people operations
  • Recruiting experience in high-pace companies with deep-tech products
  • Experience with German (and Spanish) labour law

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
