About Karri 

At Karri, we are building technology that helps kids step outside, explore and stay connected. We believe independence should feel safe. Our first product, the Karri Messenger, is a screen-free voice messenger that allows kids to connect with their friends and family without the distractions and risks of a smartphone.

The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Intern based in Germany to join our company and help us grow Karri.

We are a pre-seed company. That means we are a small team with tight budgets, but we are highly experienced in the world of startups and big brands. You are going to learn loads and gain massive, hands-on experience working directly on projects that matter.

Ideally, we are looking for someone full-time for 3 months to start asap. But please do get in touch even if you can only do part-time, for a shorter duration or can’t start immediately. 

You will report to the CMO who will also mentor you during your time here.

What you will be doing

• Assisting our team across all areas of marketing to see exactly how a growing startup operates
• Helping look after our organic social media and content creation
• Researching and speaking to influencers and other potential partners
• Dreaming up fresh ideas to show parents how our products bring calm and presence back to family life
• Being part of an exciting startup at the start of its journey 

Who we are looking for

• You are a student or recent graduate 
• You are based in Germany
• You are highly proficient in spoken and written English
• You have a genuine interest in all forms of marketing and a strong passion for social media
• You do not need previous marketing experience to apply. If you have some, that is a great bonus, but we are much more interested in your energy and willingness to dive in.
