About the role:
We are a research-driven team focused on delivering high-quality survey insights powered by machine learning models. To support our Lead Data Scientist, we are looking for a motivated and curious Working Student in Data Science who enjoys solving real-world problems, working with imperfect data, and continuously challenging themselves.
In this role, you will help monitor and improve our research models, ensure output quality aligns with benchmarks and industry trends, and contribute to exciting analytical projects such as box office prediction, audience analytics, and large-scale data mining initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student who wants hands-on experience in applied data science within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
What you’ll do

Monitor day-to-day performance and output quality of research and machine learning models

Validate survey results against internal benchmarks and industry trends

Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and opportunities for model improvement

Support data mining and exploratory analysis projects

Contribute to predictive analytics initiatives, including box office forecasting

Work closely with the Lead Data Scientist on operational and strategic data tasks

Help maintain and improve data workflows and pipelines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and actionable insights
What we’re looking for

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field

A result-driven, pragmatic mindset and the ability to work with imperfect or messy datasets

Hands-on mentality with a delivery- and service-oriented attitude

Strong analytical thinking and curiosity to challenge assumptions and improve processes

First experience with Snowflake, dbt, and/or Airflow

Passion for movies and TV shows

Good English communication skills
