Mission Brief

As a Working Student in the Ground Systems Engineering Applications team, you will contribute directly to the software systems that support operation, and future development of our launch vehicles. You will collaborate and work in a team of experienced software engineers and aerospace specialists. Moreover, you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in modern software stacks and how software is developed in the aerospace industry.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

The main objective will be to work on our in-house software, which is used to operate our test rigs and launch facilities. This role is crucial for enabling the reliable and efficient operation, testing, and development of our launch vehicles.

More specifically, you will:

  • Implement new features and improve the existing software
  • Contribute full-stack, backend and frontend
  • Help automate engineering processes to improve operational efficiency

Qualification Checklist

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Familiarity with frontend or backend web development (Node.js and/or C#/.NET or another object-oriented programming language)
  • Familiar with Git and collaborative version control workflows
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Organized and proactive with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and team-player mindset
  • Fluent in English

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Experience with distributed systems and scalable software architecture
