Description provided by IAV GmbH
The digitalization and connectivity of vehicles are continuing to advance. Online services around the vehicle are becoming increasingly diverse – and with this diversity, the effort required to validate them is also growing. During testing, new software variants need to be checked regularly. Repetitive tasks can be efficiently supported by software tools.
We are currently developing a trace analysis tool that is intended to be used across different vehicle platforms. The tool should be able to capture and automatically analyze both offline trace data and live trace data in the vehicle. Development progress will be tested at test racks and in the vehicle.
Based on this idea, we are looking for you to complete your thesis in the field of software development. If this sounds interesting to you, now it’s your turn!
Your Tasks
- You familiarize yourself with the existing high-level concepts and refine them further
- You gather the requirements of the individual stakeholders
- You develop the trace analysis tool or another tool in Python

- You are currently studying computer science or a comparable field

- You have good written and spoken German and English skills at a minimum B2 level
- You work independently and in a structured manner
