🚀 About the position


CJ Mainfrost Foods GmbH in Germany serves as the regional headquarter for Europe, overseeing operations in key markets including Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Hungary. The company drives business growth across the region through sales, distribution, and market expansion of CJ’s global food brands, including “bibigo.”


Fully integrated into the Food Safety Regulatory Affairs function at CJ CheilJedang Europe RHQ in Frankfurt. This will allow you to gain hands-on experience in regulatory coordination and product specification management across international markets.


📌 What You’ll Do


Specification Management.

  • Prepare, update, and maintain detailed product specification sheets for European customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Check product information for consistency across formulas, raw material data, packaging information, and customer requirements.

Regulatory Affairs Support.

  • Assist in regulatory review and documentation related to imported food products marketed in Europe.
  • Support the team in organizing regulatory information, product documents, and compliance-related records.

Cross-Regional Communication.

  • Communicate with overseas manufacturing sites, including Korea and other global production locations, to collect and verify product information.
  • Coordinate with European customers and internal cross-functional teams to support specification requests and regulatory inquiries.

Data Accuracy and Document Control.

  • Help manage regulatory and product information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support continuous improvement of document control and reporting processes within the Food Safety team.


📌 Who You Are:


| Minimum Qualifications

  • Commitment: Able to commit to an on-site, full-time internship.
  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (including MBA).
  • Work Authorization: Be legally authorized to work in the country where the internship position is based.
  • Post-Graduation: Open to starting a full-time position upon graduation.


| Qualifications & Experience


  • Interest in Food Regulatory Affairs: Strong interest in food safety, food labeling, regulatory affairs, and compliance management.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to review documents carefully and manage data accurately.
  • Analytical Skills: Able to organize complex product and regulatory information in a structured and logical manner.
  • Documentation Skills: Comfortable handling specification sheets, product data, technical documents, and compliance-related records.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cultural Competency: High cultural adaptability and openness to working in a global organization with colleagues across Europe and Asia.
  • Interest in Food Industry: A genuine interest in the food industry and international food business environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Korean.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.


| Preferred Experience & Others


  • Prior internship, project, or coursework related to food safety, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or product specification management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EU food labeling requirements or customer specification systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Experience working with detailed documents, databases, or cross-functional coordination is a plus.
