Stellenbeschreibung

Beschreibung bereitgestellt von BIRKENSTOCK

BIRKENSTOCK is a global brand which embraces all consumers regardless of geography, gender, age and income. The company is deeply footed on a family tradition of shoemaking that can be traced back to 1774. With around 7100 employees worldwide, BIRKENSTOCK is the largest employer in the German footwear industry. To ensure our quality standards, we produce over 95% of our products in Germany and source more than 90% of our materials and components from Europe. The BIRKENSTOCK Group is headquartered in Linz am Rhein and maintains several locations in Germany, as well as sales offices in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

YOUR TASKS:

  • You independently prepare variance analyses (e.g. plan vs. actual) and get to the bottom of the reasons behind the numbers.
  • You build and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI and actively help structure our data models.
  • You spot manual processes and automate them yourself, e.g. in Excel or Power BI.
  • You actively support the in-year forecast and budget planning, from data preparation to plausibility checks.
  • You prepare analyses that provide a solid basis for decision-making and present your findings to the team.
  • You review postings for discrepancies and resolve them directly with Accounting and the departments of the CPO product organization to ensure the data is correctly reflected in the system.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (3rd semester or higher) or a Master’s program in business administration, economics or a related field, ideally with a focus on controlling, accounting, finance or similar.
  • Ideally, you have gained first practical experience in controlling or finance, e.g. through internships, a working student position or vocational training.
  • You like to roll up your sleeves: you get things done independently, take ownership of your results and prefer working with real data over pure theory.
  • You have very good Excel skills and are confident using PowerPoint.
  • First experience with SAP and/or Power BI is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • You work analytically, in a structured way and with great care, and you are open to new things.
  • You have very good German and fluent English skills, both written and spoken.

WE OFFER:

BIRKENSTOCK offers you all the advantages of a successful, fast growing, global company: dynamic work environment, considerable design freedom, authentic and open corporate culture and excellent development opportunities. Sounds exciting? It is. Our Talent Acquisition team is looking forward to receiving your online application!
