About The Role

Are you an ambitious student looking to make an impact in the fast-evolving Fintech landscape? Join our Worldline SEPA Tribe as an Inhouse Consulting Intern and gain hands-on experience at the management level within our international consulting practice.In this role, you'll work alongside senior managers to support strategic payment solutions and fintech initiatives for our most important clients. You'll be embedded in real projects, contributing meaningful insights and learning from industry leaders in one of the most dynamic sectors of financial services.

What You'll Do

  • Support strategic consulting projects focused on payments, SEPA, and fintech innovation
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform client recommendations
  • Develop presentation materials and business cases for executives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries and time zones
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand business requirements
  • Contribute to solution design and implementation roadmaps
  • Document findings and best practices for internal knowledge sharing

What We're Looking For

  • Required:Currently enrolled student in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (from 3rd semester onwards)
  • Professional work experience (internships, part-time roles, or projects demonstrating business acumen)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent MS-Office skillsExcellent communication abilities in English (German is a plus!)
  • Curiosity about payments, fintech, and digital transformationSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams
  • Nice to Have:Experience with payment systems, banking, or financial servicesFamiliarity with SEPA or international payment regulationsData analysis or visualization skillsExperience with agile methodologies

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Beratung in Frankfurt für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
