The TUM Talent Factory is seeking a dedicated student assistant to help organize events and support fellows and funding programs within a diverse work environment at the intersection of academia and research funding.
The Technical University Of Munich (TUM) Is Seeking To Fill The Following Position Within The Research Funding And Technology Transfer Department (TUM ForTe) At The Earliest Possible Date
Student Assistant (m/f/d) for the TUM Talent Factory, focusing on research funding
(up to 20 hours/week; flexible scheduling)
The TUM Talent Factory is a support unit for postdocs at TUM, offering a diverse work environment at the intersection of academia, event organization, and research funding.
We are looking for a dedicated student assistant who enjoys organizing events and can support the team in managing fellows and funding programs.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with advisory and support services for postdocs at TUM
- Supporting the organization, coordination, and follow-up of events and workshops (including international ones) – e.g. B. TUM Postdoc Days
- Assisting with the application management process for fellowships/grants
- Conducting evaluations, research, and analyses in the field of research funding
- Creating presentations, information materials, and specialized brochures
- Maintaining websites, social media channels, and our internal application portal for fellowships/grants
- General organizational and administrative tasks
- Currently enrolled student (Bachelor’s or Master’s program)
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Interest in research management, university structures, and international collaboration
- Structured, independent working style combined with team spirit and initiative
- Experience with content management systems and databases is an asset
- Insights into strategic research management at a University of Excellence
- An active role in the TUM Talent Factory – with a direct impact on research and career support
