Working Student / Internship - Robotics Application Engineer (m/w/d)

We're an early-stage robotics startup founded out of TUM MIRMI and backed by €1M+ in pre-seed funding from a leading European VC. Our mission is to bring the latest advances in Robot Learning and Physical AI into real industrial deployment.

We're looking for builders: Engineers who enjoy taking things apart, putting them back together, and making complex systems work. You'll work across the entire robotics stack - from mechanics and CAD to sensors, robot programming and industrial deployments - building real automation systems that leave the lab and enter factories.

Tasks

• Design, build, install and troubleshoot industrial robotic applications and customer deployments


• Design applications and mechanical components in CAD


• Integrate sensors, cameras, pneumatics, end-effectors and industrial I/Os


• Manufacture, assemble, test and iterate prototypes and customer systems


• Support in creating drawings and documentation for robotic cells

Requirements

• 
  

  Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related field



• 
  

  Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for building real hardware



• 
  

  Experience with CAD, 3D-printing and manufacturing technolgies



• 
  

  First experience in automation technology, robotics or automation machinery



• 
  

  Independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working



• 
  

  Experience with one or more of the following makes you stand out:
