Tasks
During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your professional network
and possibly lay the groundwork for a thesis or a future career at LTLS.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Active involvement in our core business of critical spare parts logistics for the aviation industry
- Development of transportation concepts based on our existing and constantly growing global transportation network
- Implementation of transportation concepts by integrating them into our system landscape
- Management, monitoring, and optimization of transportation concepts in terms of performance, reliability, and costs
- Collaborating with internal and external customers as well as our partners in the global transportation network
- Supporting the international team through data analysis, ad hoc inquiries, and day-to-day operations
- Participation in exciting projects that drive the strategic development of our team and company

Ideally, you meet the following requirements:
- By the start of the internship, you must have completed at least your third semester
- Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current enrollment certificate and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
- Enthusiasm for logistics and the global transportation market
- Open-minded personality with a hands-on attitude
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and willingness to learn various systems
- Knowledge of data analysis, visualization, and AI applications (e.g., Power BI, Python, Copilot) is a plus
- Very good English skills
Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
