Product Engineer Intern (m/f/d)

At Linexa, we’re working to make European manufacturing competitive again. We’re building the software foundation that gives factories a clear understanding of the systems behind production and the tools to adapt them faster.

As a Product Engineering Intern, you will work directly with the founders and own scoped projects end-to-end, from parsers and data pipelines to real customer deployments. You will turn raw industrial data into useful product functionality and ship software grounded in real customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Data foundation: Build parsers, extractors, connectors and backup services that turn messy industrial files into the data foundation behind Linexa.
• Product applications: Ship features, copilots and focused apps that help engineers understand and improve real production systems.
• Customer delivery: Work with the founders to bring Linexa live in real customer environments, solve technical problems and turn what you learn into product improvements.

What we're looking for:

• Studying at/graduated from a leading university in Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in Tier-1 startups, tech companies, or consulting.
• Side projects where you have built and shipped software end-to-end for real users.
• Strong software engineering skills, with hands-on experience in backend & infrastructure.
• High agency, bias to action, and desire for real-world impact.
• Native or near-native German, fluent English.

The Setup: 

• Location: Munich (5 days/week in-office)
• Timing: 6 months, starting ASAP
• Comp: €2.750 per month
