Job Details

How do consumers, citizens and organisations make decisions – and what drives their behaviour across different categories and contexts?

In our Market and Consumer Understanding team, we work across the full spectrum of market research – from large-scale, continuous multi-client studies to ad hoc U&As and in-depth consumer journey analyses across a wide range of industries.

We combine methodological excellence with strategic thinking to generate insights that help our clients understand markets and consumers, identify opportunities and make better decisions.

Within this broader context, we place particular emphasis on key future-oriented topics such as sustainability, inclusion and technology. The use of AI in both our analytical tools and daily work is standard practice, enabling us to work faster, smarter and more impactful.

As a full-time intern, you will support our consultants on national and international projects, working with real client questions from day one. After a structured onboarding, you will take ownership of clearly defined tasks and actively contribute to research, analysis and storytelling.

You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of methodologies, industries and topics – building a strong foundation for a career in market research and consulting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the planning, execution and analysis of a broad range of market research projects (e.g. multi-client studies, U&As, consumer journeys)
  • Contribute to projects across different industries and topics, including sustainability, technology, media or finance
  • Prepare charts, insights and client-ready presentations (PowerPoint or Google Slides)
  • Support qualitative and quantitative research activities, including surveys, interviews or workshops
  • Contribute to marketing and thought leadership activities, e.g. drafting LinkedIn posts, articles and content pieces on various topics, including sustainability
  • Work with modern tools and approaches, including AI-supported analysis
  • Take ownership of clearly scoped tasks or small workstreams with guidance from your supervisor

Ideal Skills & Experience

  • You are currently enrolled at a German university in a degree such as business, economics, social sciences, psychology, environmental studies or a related field
  • You have a strong interest in market research, consumer behaviour and business-relevant insights across different topics (e.g. sustainability, technology, media, finance)
  • You are curious about future-oriented topics such as sustainability, inclusion and technological developments (incl. AI)
  • You work in a structured, reliable and independent way, and enjoy teamwork
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in German and English
  • You have an interest in content creation, communication or marketing (e.g. LinkedIn, articles, thought leadership)
  • You are comfortable working with MS Office, especially PowerPoint

What’s In It For You

  • Hands‑on experience in consulting and market understanding
  • Close mentoring, regular feedback and learning on real client projects
  • Exposure to international teams and diverse research topics
  • A collaborative, inclusive and supportive working environment
  • Fair internship compensation
