Boost engineering excellence through automation, analytics, and digital solutions.

We are looking for an ambitious Working Student or Intern (m/f/d) to join the Operational Excellence team within our Requirements Engineering Program as soon as possible.

In this role, you will support the digital transformation of engineering processes by developing innovative solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and user experience. You will work closely with subject matter experts, IT specialists, and global stakeholders to implement integrations, automate workflows, analyze system performance, and explore emerging technologies that enhance the way requirements engineering is performed across Hilti.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will take ownership of technical improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous evolution of our engineering tool landscape.

You will support the implementation of tool integrations, develop automations that streamline business processes, and create data-driven dashboards to monitor system usage and performance. You will investigate technical challenges, evaluate new technologies, and execute proof-of-concept activities that help shape future solutions.

Additionally, you will contribute to the optimization of our Requirements Engineering platform ecosystem, support reporting and analytics activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital innovation.

Depending on your interests and strengths, you will have the opportunity to explore topics such as AI-powered solutions, low-code development, data analytics, software integrations, performance monitoring, and engineering process digitalization.

What You’ll Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in digitalization, engineering processes, and technical problem-solving
  • Initial experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
  • Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, or software development concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of data analytics and dashboard development is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or low-code technologies is desirable
  • Structured and analytical way of working with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned topics
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a global environment
  • Very good English skills
