As a Working Student in the Global Procurement Professional Services team you will gain hands‑on experience across the full procurement cycle. You will assist with routine purchasing tasks, support small‑scale sourcing projects, contribute to data‑driven process enhancements and help embed AI‑based tools into everyday procurement activities, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
What You'll Do
- Assist the procurement team with daily purchase requisitions, order processing and supplier onboarding
- Support smaller sourcing initiatives, including market research and request‑for‑quotation preparation
- Collect, clean and analyse procurement data to identify improvement opportunities
- Help integrate AI‑driven solutions (e.g., chat‑bots, predictive analytics) into procurement workflows
- Prepare routine reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with the Professional Services units (consulting, training, HR, creative) to align procurement needs
- Document procurement processes and contribute to standard‑operating‑procedure updates
- Provide ad‑hoc support for contract reviews and documentation
What Makes You A Fit
- Enrolled in a university program (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science) with availability of approximately 12 months
- Strong interest in procurement, sourcing and emerging AI technologies
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with data‑analysis tools is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; German is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on responsibility
