Internship Opportunity at the Research Unit of Constructor Technology in Partnership with the Observatory of Higher Education Innovations at Constructor University

Overview

The Research Unit of Constructor Technology in Partnership with the Observatory of Higher Education Innovations at Constructor University is looking for a motivated student intern who is passionate about educational technologies and their applications. The ideal candidate is a second or third-year student with a strong interest in research, data analysis, and the EdTech industry. This internship offers valuable learning opportunities, mentorship, and hands-on experience in a dynamic field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing existing EdTech solutions, including platform and infrastructure software, as well as products aimed at end-users such as students, teachers, and administrative staff.
  • Help investigate and assess the latest trends and innovations in the application of artificial intelligence in education.
  • Collaborate with team members and researchers to explore tools that enhance productivity and optimize routine tasks.
  • Proactively participate in a weekly work-group seminar where we discuss findings.
  • Support the market analysis efforts, including studying economic indicators and trends to identify potential opportunities for the company's development in the EdTech sector.
  • Participate in external EdTech and education-related activities and share insights with the entire team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a second or third year of a bachelor's program in information technology, economics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of market research and data analysis, with coursework or projects in a related area.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with information and learn to make informed decisions.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to the field of educational technology.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
