Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Berlin Institute of Health

We are looking for a motivated and curious Master’s student to join our team and contribute to an ongoing DFG-funded research project in T-cell immunology and skin organoid research at Campus Charité Virchow Klinikum.

You will investigate antigen-specific T-cell responses and gain hands-on experience with a range of advanced immunological and tissue-based techniques. Depending on the project, your work will include cell enrichment protocols, spectral flow cytometry, ELISA, histology, and skin organoid models.

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Immunology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong foundational knowledge in biology, ideally with a background in immunology
  • Previous laboratory experience and familiarity with sterile cell culture techniques
  • Ability to work independently and systematically on defined tasks and research questions
  • Strong motivation to learn new technologies and actively contribute to the development of your project
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English
  • Available to start within the next weeks

What We Offer

  • A state-of-the-art, well-equipped laboratory and the opportunity to learn a broad range of advanced technologies
  • Hands-on training in spectral flow cytometry, with opportunities to gain experience in high-plex spatial proteomics, spectral flow cytometric cell sorting, and skin organoid generation
  • The opportunity to conduct and complete your Master’s thesis within the project
  • Close scientific supervision and support by an experienced PhD student
  • Regular lab meetings, as well as training in scientific literature analysis, paper discussions, and presentations
  • Flexible working hours and a collaborative research environment

Interested?

If you are enthusiastic about T-cell immunology, advanced cell analysis, and organoid research and would like to develop your scientific skills in a modern research environment, we would be happy to hear from you.
