About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to support our Team 'Network & Communication'. As a Working Student, you will collaborate closely with the network engineers, contributing to our service deliveries. This role offers hands-on experience in commissioning OT network for energy plants (BOP), configuring routers and switches, risk management, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment. Moreover, you will be involved in activities related to process development and project administration, and would get the chance to gather experience working with professional tools like JIRA, MS-Office Enterprise, etc.

What you will do

  • Support in first-level service regarding maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, etc) and network setup (VPN, access/user management, debugging, etc.)
  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating tickets, as-built documentation, processes.
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing our Service Management tool.
  • Support in preparing technical and financial reports
  • Support in scheduling planning projects and tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • High IT/OT affinity.
  • Be self-disciplined and structured in mind and in action.
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant university program (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field).
  • Basic understanding of OT network concepts, handling VPN, NATing.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in a related field is a plus but not required.
