Your Tasks
- Your tasks include supporting the preparation and execution of measurements on Francis model turbines in the in-house test laboratory.
- You analyze turbine characteristics across various operating ranges and compare them with measurements from actual power plant units.
- By evaluating the data, you link theoretical principles with practical applications.
- You will collaborate across disciplines with experts in measurement technology, hydraulic design, structural analysis, and materials science.
- Contribute to current research questions that support the energy transition with your work.
- You are an enrolled student in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- You have basic knowledge of mechanics, strength, and fatigue analysis.
- You also possess very good skills in MS Office.
- Very good English skills, an independent working style, and the ability to work in a team complete your profile.
- A structured and goal-oriented working style distinguish you.
- With a mentor and a team at your side who support you at the start and throughout your time at Voith and provide regular feedback, you will benefit from both professional and personal development.
