Location Gigafactory Berlin
You’ll be part of the Inbound Transports team for Gigafactory Berlin. We are responsible for logistics chain from pickup at the supplier locations up until delivery to the factory.
You will join at an interesting time, witnessing the start of production and initial ramp of production in Tesla’s newest plant. You will get insights into the day-to-day business in an exciting environment. You will serve as coordinator between suppliers, carriers, internal logistics, material planning and purchasing as stakeholders. You will also get the chance to prove yourself in your own project regarding the setup of logistical flows in systems and daily practice.
What You'll Do
Gaining an understanding of Tesla transport networks and supply chain setups Taking up ownership and responsibility for own (sub-)project regarding set-up of Transport Management System for GFBB production ramp-up In depth knowledge of Transport Management System functionality, data, maintenance, and improvement of automatization Using analytical and technical skills for data analysis, dashboard visualization Developing solid understanding and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders in fast moving environment Being able to support in different cross functional projects and shift focus easily when needed Understanding and responding to disruptions in the worldwide transport networks Being a part of an international Supply Chain Team driving frequent changes in transport set-ups & processes
What You'll Bring
Preferably studying a relevant field like Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing/Process Engineering Abilities to quickly become acquainted with complex new topics Challenging the status quo & eagerness to drive change Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented A strong team player High competence in working with Microsoft Office Products (i.e. MS Excel, MS PPT) Experience creating operational metrics and dashboards using Excel, SQL and Tableau (or similar) visualization tools preferred Fluency in English, other languages like German, Polish, Czech would a big plus
