TMS is an interdisciplinary studio for media-enhanced scenography. We design and create media-driven, multi-sensory exhibitions, interactive environments and immersive spaces that tell meaningful stories, reveal histories and open hearts. Our clients are based all over the world and include museums, cultural institutions and brands. Together with our partners in exhibition planning and architecture we create narrative experiences, using technology, light, film, animation, sound and building design. We are constantly striving for new ways to make the spaces we create more accessible and open to all.
We are currently looking for an intern/working student to join our Project Management team in Berlin. This role is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing projects. These range from the development of initial creative ideas and initial cost modelling, project planning and scheduling, coordination of creative teams and production steps to the implementation of our assets. You’ll work closely with designers, artists and technologists.
This role is ideal for someone who is open-minded, outgoing and inquisitive individual, ideally with existing or aspirational skills or interests to develop project management skills within a creative environment.
Tasks
- Project Coordination: Assist the planning, coordination and monitoring of the projects, ensuring milestones are met and team communication flows smoothly
- Documentation & Process Support: Maintain and update project documentation including creative briefings, project timelines and presentation materials, supporting the interdisciplinary processes
- Team & Meeting Coordination: Schedule and facilitate team meetings, prepare agendas, document outcomes, and follow up on action items, helping keep cross-disciplinary teams aligned and on track.
- Reporting & Analysis: Support in tracking project progress and compiling reports on budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Studio Workflow Optimization: Contribute ideas to refine the studio’s workflow and processes, promoting collaboration, efficiency, and a high standard of creativity.
Requirements
- Educational background or even working experience in project management, producing, media planning, digital film, design or -animation, or similar
- Software skills of MS Office
- Keynote skills
- Adobe package skills
- Passion for organising and bringing together creative teams and projects
- Good time management, initiative and decision-making skills
- A certain passion for the administrative elements of project management and attention to detail
- Fluent in German and English
