Job Description
If you enjoy analog circuit design, power electronics, PCB design, EMC testing, or working hands-on with lab equipment and real hardware, MPS has exciting opportunities for you. Whether you want to develop next-generation ICs, validate automotive electronics, work in our EMC Lab in Ettenheim, or combine engineering with customer interaction in a technical sales role in the Munich area, you’ll work on real-world technologies with international teams from day one.
Internship Positions At MPS Include
- IC Design and Verification (Internship or Full Time Graduate) - You will work with MPS Engineers at the Circuit Design and Verification of new ICs. You will be involved at the development of the next generation of Analog & Mixed-Signal Designs.
- Field Sales Engineer or Field Applications Engineer (Full Time Graduate) - The Associate Field Sales Engineer (FSE) will join the MPS NOW team that is responsible for mass market customers in Europe. The position primarily addresses new college graduates who want to enter a career in a technical sales department at MPS Germany. The ramp-up phase will foresee assignments in different departments (field application, customer service, marketing, product line) to give insights in and learn from other teams.
- Applications Engineer/Hardware Engineer (Internship or Full time Graduate) - You will be supporting the evaluation and validation of components and board designs. Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- IC validation and characterization, optimization and automatization of existing measurements and test concepts. Characterization of key product parameters using laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, pattern generator…).
- PCB layout of evaluation boards, characterization/validation boards and system demonstrator.
- EMC performance testing.
