We are looking for a dedicated individual to join the GLARA project: Generative Learning Activities and the Role of Agency in digital environments, starting on September 2026.

Student Assistant (m/f/d)

Generative Learning | 20 hours / month | initially limited to 6 months | from September 2026

The Individual Development and Adaptive Learning Lab (IDEAL) focuses on the development of learning and self-regulation in the context of digital media and adaptive learning environments. The GLARA project focuses on the added value of different generative learning activities in a digital scenario and how agency influences the learning outcomes.

What To Expect

• Assisting with the design, preparation, and conduct of studies (possibly including eye-tracking studies)
• Helping to develop research materials
• Computer-assisted data collection data curation and analysis (using R or Python)
• Recruiting participants
• Conducting literature research

What You Need To Bring

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, educational sciences, cognitive science, or related fields
• Interest in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of psychology and learning sciences
• Interest in the topic of “AI and digital tools in education and self-regulated learning”
• Knowledge of research methodology and statistics
• Interest in the design and evaluation of digital learning environments and in eye-tracking studies
• Very good German and English language skills (at least professional proficiency)
