Alongside the main award, the Green Concept Award honors forward-looking ideas and prototypes, helping new concepts gain visibility. The awards aim to build a curated collection of green solutions that supports consumer awareness and assists manufacturers in marketing their sustainable offerings. TWith white lobster as organizer we connect designers, producers, and experts, fostering knowledge transfer and guiding projects from development to implementation and promotion. Since 2013, submissions from over 54 countries have been showcased to more than one million visitors at international trade fairs and design festivals, generating media coverage, business deals, licensing agreements, and investments. With Normina.eu we offer check-ups and self-empowerment courses for companies and universities to build working processesto comply with the new EU sustainablity regulations.

Role Description As a Praktikant:in Kommunikationsdesign at Green Product Award, you will support the visual and communication design for our international competitions, clients and the Normina products. In this full-time, on-site role based in Berlin, Germany, you will assist in creating design assets for online and offline channels, including social media graphics, presentation materials, event signage, and marketing collateral. You will help develop and refine visual concepts, prepare layouts, and adapt existing designs to different formats and languages. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the communications and marketing teams, contributing to campaign concepts, updating design templates, and supporting the preparation of materials for exhibitions and trade fairs. You will also participate in brainstorming sessions, help ensure brand consistency, and contribute to improving our visual storytelling around sustainable products and concepts.

Qualifications

• Background in communication design, graphic design, or a related field, with strong skills in visual concept development and layout.
• Proficiency in common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar), and basic knowledge of preparing files for print and digital use.
• Ability to create clear, engaging visual content for social media, presentations, and marketing materials, with attention to detail and consistency.
• Strong interest in sustainability, design innovation, and international design trends, ideally with first practical experience through projects or internships.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, openness to feedback, and ability to work in a structured, organized way in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working in an international context; good English skills are required, German language skills are an advantage.
• Enrollment in a relevant university program or recent graduation, with a portfolio demonstrating your design skills and creative thinking.
