About The Role
- Participation in and contribution to vibration and strength related numerical simulation projects for the maritime industry e.g. global and local structural analyses. This includes external customer projects as well as internal support and R&D projects
- Perform sub tasks independently supervised by your tutor such as finite element modelling, load definition and application, stress-, buckling,- and fatigue evaluation

About You
- Bachelor/Master student in naval architecture or comparable engineering disciplines
- Courses in mechanics, design of maritime structures or similar would be beneficial
- Understanding technical drawings
- Basic skills in finite element method are favoured but not a must
- Minimum internship duration: 10 weeks

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
