In Frankfurt, we are looking for you to join us immediately in a full-time or part-time, non-permanent position as an Intern (all genders) in the Global Markets Data & AI Lab at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

  • Taking responsibility in projects and contributing to core business topics
  • Providing product recommendations for clients and predicting flows within the client franchise
  • Applying Natural Language Processing
  • Gathering and extracting data in a usable format based on problem relevance
  • Classifying the behavior of various market participants
  • Determining the relative value between different assets
  • Extracting relevant information from social media sources
  • Improving the market regarding frequency states

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program
  • Knowledge of data analysis and an interest in solving complex problems
  • Strong coding skills and deep knowledge of machine learning (e.g., PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Structured working style and attention to detail
  • Ability to create innovative solutions and work under pressure
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
