Our team at the BMW Group manages digital marketing activities for 24 European markets. With our brands BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce, we create premium digital experiences that inspire customers across all touchpoints.

What awaits you?

  • You will support the development and optimization of BMW and MINI websites across multiple digital products such as configurator, vehicle finder, and online showroom.
  • Furthermore, you help improve the customer journey from awareness to conversion across all website touchpoints.
  • In addition, you assist in conceptualizing and implementing new website features, ensuring scalability and alignment with our global digital strategy.
  • Moreover, you contribute to collaboration with internal stakeholders such as UX, analytics, legal, IT and external partners to deliver a consistent premium digital experience.
  • You will also support the management and optimization of key tools including configurator flows, vehicle finder functionalities, and lead forms.
  • Additionally, you participate in website testing, quality assurance, and performance optimization through A/B testing and usability improvements.
  • Furthermore, you help with reporting and analysis of website performance including KPIs such as traffic, configurator starts, and lead generation.
  • You will support daily operations by coordinating with stakeholders, tracking requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of website updates.

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in business, digital media, computer science, or a related field with focus on digital, marketing, or product management.
  • Strong interest in digital products, user experience, and website ecosystems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with affinity for data-driven decision-making and precision.
  • Basic understanding of web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus.
  • First experience in digital projects, website development, or product management is an advantage.
  • Structured approach, strong communication skills, and ability to work in an international environment.
  • Fluent English and German skills.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Marketing in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
