As working student in our Compliance & Business Ethics department at our location in Mainz, you can expect a variety of tasks in a dynamic and international environment. Within the department, you will specifically support the Policy Governance function, which facilitates the creation, approval and implementation of global and local Policies.

Hours: 14-20/week

Your contribution:

  • Support with the development and maintenance of our compliance program, our policies, processes and the relevant internal communication and training measures
  • Monitoring and maintenance of overviews, databases and web-based compliance tools
  • Proactively approach other business functions and support them with compliance questions and processes
  • Support the team in compliance projects, such as the implementation of new IT systems
  • Conduct specific research on compliance-related regulations as well as compliance and ethics topics
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks, such as drafting and reviewing documents, correspondence and presentations in English and German

A good match:

  • You are currently studying business administration, economics, law, business law, management, or another relevant subject
  • You have strong organizational and analytical skills to interpret data. You are skilled in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) as well as utilizing AI tools to generate actionable insights are beneficial
  • You have a strong interest in business ethics, compliance and/or policy governance; initial practical experiences in such an environment would be an asset
  • You have experience in project management or coordination, and you contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • You are a good communicator, pragmatic and solution-oriented and are not afraid to proactively approach colleagues from other business functions. You are fluent in German and English
  • You have a very thorough and structured way of working and a high degree of independence and integrity
  • You enjoy working in an international, dynamic and ever-changing environment
