Job Description

Following our Series A, allO is hiring fast across every function — and sourcing and screening candidates has become a real bottleneck for our founders and hiring managers. This role closes that gap. From week one, you're doing the candidate research that lets hiring managers focus on decisions, not searching.

Most recruiting internships mean shadowing someone for a few months and maybe, eventually, being trusted to send a calendar invite. Not here. You're reaching out to candidates across multiple channels, screening applications, and keeping the pipeline in HiBob organized — working closely with hiring managers and founders, who make the final calls and speak directly with candidates — on a product over 1,000 restaurants use every day.

This role focuses on candidate research: sourcing, screening, and keeping the pipeline moving. It's designed for someone at the very start of their career — founders and hiring managers stay closely involved (in outreach messaging and screening decisions, and in every candidate conversation), and you'll learn the craft alongside them rather than being thrown in alone.

This isn't just a recruiting internship — it's an entry point into talent acquisition and HR at one of Munich's fast-growing tech companies. Your day-to-day is recruiting-focused, but you'll work directly with founders, hiring managers, and our People & HR team, and see firsthand how a startup builds its people function from the ground up.

About AllO

The restaurant industry runs on fragmented software, disconnected workflows, and constant operational chaos. Restaurant owners don't want another tool to learn. They want the work done. So we're building allO: the first AI-native operating system for restaurants. Think AI-powered digital employees running on one fully integrated platform. We just shipped our Reservation & Ordering Voice Agent, and we have 10+ more coming over the next 18 months.

We recently closed a $14M Series A led by Zigg Capital, with LifeX Ventures, Aperture Capital, Wecken & Cie., 20VC, and Keen Venture Partners. More than 1,000 restaurant locations across Germany already run on allO, with 6x location growth and 3.5x revenue year over year.

We're a fast-moving team of 15+ nationalities, flat by design and founder-led. The restaurant industry is entering a new era. Join us and help build it.

Job Requirements

You might be a great fit if you...

  • Are currently studying (or recently graduated) — HR, Psychology, and Business backgrounds fit naturally, but we equally welcome humanities and social sciences candidates; Pflichtpraktikant:innen welcome
  • Are naturally curious about people and enjoy figuring out what makes a candidate a strong fit
  • Are comfortable exploring sourcing platforms like LinkedIn — or excited to get fluent in them fast
  • Have sharp attention to detail (a messy pipeline is a recruiter's worst enemy)
  • Are reliable and organized — you'll be trusted with real admin, not busywork
  • Are genuinely open to working with AI as part of your daily work
  • Speak fluent English and German (both required) — we're a highly international team, but German is essential for this role

Job Responsibilities

Your core, day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Active sourcing — reaching out to potential candidates across multiple channels, together with hiring managers and founders on messaging and approach
  • Candidate research & screening in HiBob — reviewing CVs and profiles and shortlisting, in close coordination with hiring managers and founders (no candidate calls — that stays with hiring managers and founders)
  • Recruiting pipeline & process admin — keeping HiBob up to date, supporting interview scheduling if needed, tracking candidate status
  • Hiring manager support — keeping them updated on pipeline status and supporting them wherever needed
  • Reporting — learning how we track recruiting numbers, and reporting on the candidates you've identified and moved through the pipeline
  • Job description support — helping shape and refine job descriptions for open roles
  • Employer branding — picked up naturally, contributing to how we present allO to candidates

How This Role Works With Others

  • Founders & Hiring Managers — own outreach messaging, screening decisions, and every candidate conversation (first call, salary expectations, start date, etc.)
  • You — do the research and legwork that gets a strong shortlist in front of them: sourcing, screening, keeping HiBob current
  • HR & People Experience — you'll work closely with Johanna and Gaby day-to-day, who run your onboarding, coaching, and joint interview

What Success Looks Like

Month 1

  • Source real candidates independently
  • Screen up to 30 CVs per day
  • Build your first qualified shortlists
  • Become confident using LinkedIn Recruiter and HiBob

By the End of Your Internship (Month 6)

  • Independently manage sourcing and candidate screening
  • Make a measurable impact on recruiting metrics, for example:
    • Reduce time-to-hire
    • Maintain a consistent flow of qualified candidates
    • Support roles from sourcing through successful hiring
By the end of your internship, you'll have practical recruiting experience that most graduates only gain in their first full-time recruiting role.

Why recruiting is a skill worth having

Skills

Recruiting is one of the most transferable, in-demand skills out there — every company needs someone who can find great people and convince them to say yes. You'll build:

  • Sales skills that transfer into any career — sourcing and convincing candidates is sales, at its core
  • Analytical thinking — reading CVs and data to figure out who's actually the right fit
  • Writing — crafting outreach messages and job postings that actually get responses
  • Communication & stakeholder management — working with candidates and hiring managers, often with competing priorities
  • A sharp read on people, faster than almost any other entry-level job builds
  • Insight into an entire company — recruiters touch every function and every hiring decision

Job Benefits

  • Wellhub/Wellpass health benefits
  • Deutschlandticket subsidy
  • Latest Apple hardware
  • Hybrid setup based in Munich, with remote days built in and flexible hours
  • Office dogs welcome

On Top Of That

  • Real ownership from day one — not shadowing someone else's process
  • A buddy program — a dedicated colleague to help you settle in
  • A direct mentor — you will receive coaching through the full three months
  • Direct access to hiring managers and founders — no layers in between
  • A front-row seat to how startups hire, end to end
