Intern in Space-Software Unit Testing & Migration (d/f/m)

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

  • You will manually migrate existing unit tests from VectorCAST to the modern framework Unity/CMock.
  • You will be responsible for executing and validating the migrated unit tests in our development environment.
  • You will analyze the migrated tests and implement targeted improvements to increase test quality and efficiency.
  • You will explore the use of AI agents to automatically create and implement new unit tests with Unity/CMock.
  • At the end of your internship, you will create a detailed internship report summarizing your results and best practices.

Desired Skills And Qualifications

  • Enrolled fulltime student (d/f/m) in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of the C programming language (ideally in an embedded environment).
  • Prior experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Unity, Cmock, Google Test) is advantageous.
  • Interest in modern development tools and the use of artificial intelligence in software engineering.
  • A structured work style and the ability to quickly grasp complex relationships.
  • Fluent in German or English.
